I am honored and excited to begin my new role as Middle School Principal after previously serving in elementary special education and Dean of Students here at Harper ISD. My passion has always been helping students feel valued, supported, and confident in who they are. I believe middle school is one of the most important and memorable times in a student’s life—a time to discover passions, build relationships, find their strengths, and create memories that last a lifetime.

As we begin this new chapter, I am committed to promoting academic excellence while also making sure our students have opportunities to grow, lead, and succeed both inside and outside the classroom. I am equally committed to supporting and encouraging our teachers and staff, recognizing that when our educators feel valued, supported, and empowered, they are better able to provide our students with the exceptional education and experiences they deserve. I want to build upon the traditions that make our school special while creating new traditions that our students will carry with them for years to come. I also believe that a strong school is built on strong relationships, and I look forward to working closely with our students, families, staff, and community.

Most importantly, I want our students to have a genuine love and pride for their school. I am incredibly excited and looking forward to an amazing year filled with learning, laughter, school spirit, and plenty of great memories. And as a middle school principal, I’m quickly learning that if you can survive the cafeteria, the hallway traffic, and the occasional “But they said I could!”—you can probably handle just about anything!
